Vitra - EM Table by Jean Prouvé
The Vitra EM Table was designed in 1950 by the architect and designer Jean Prouvé. The dining table is characterized by the Prouvé-typical, canted and curved sheet metal of the table frame. The diagonally mounted legs give the table its constructive dynamism and strength. A truss made of round tubing connects and stabilizes the legs. This construction combines details of industrial architecture with formal simplicity. The Vitra dining table EM is available in lengths of 180 - 260 cm. The table top is optionally available in HPL or wood.
